Josie Juhasz, MA, LPC, & Scott Radzik, MS, LPC

Josie Juhasz, MA, LPC, has been a psychotherapist for 34 years, practicing in Vermont, Washington D.C., and currently Bend, Oregon.  She is EMDR certified, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and an EMDR Facilitator for EMDR Basic Training.  She provides EMDR individual and group consultations  for certification and for consultants-in-training. She specializes in complex trauma, attachment disorders and medical trauma. She began integrating somatic approaches into her practice after extensive training and consultation in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy 20 years ago. More recently, through extensive training in internal family systems (IFS), she is now integrating both somatic and IFS approaches into her EMDR Therapy  and consultations.  She also conducts workshops on a variety of mental health and social concerns to mental health professionals, universities, colleges, school districts, non-profits, medical professionals, and Departments of Health and Education.

After traveling with an international training team to Uganda where she taught EMDR to mental health practitioners, Josie co-authored a chapter entitled “Learning EMDR in Uganda:  An experiment in cross-cultural collaboration” in Mark Nickerson’s book, Cultural Competence and Healing Culturally Based Trauma with EMDR Therapy (2017).

Scott Radzik, MS, NCC, LPC, began study in mindfulness-based practices in the mid 90’s, immersing in psycho/spiritual training programs in meditative practices, Jungian-based analysis, Gestalt group work, Enneagram Studies, Dream group work, World Religions, Body-Movement practices, Art therapy, and Interpersonal Group process.

In late 2000, Scott began 5 years of study with the Hakomi Institute of Oregon, training and assisting trainings in interpersonal skills, the Hakomi Method, the Recreation of Self Model of Transformation, and Experiential Trauma Therapy.  Scott has adjacent training in Couples therapy, Sexuality, and Primary Attachment therapy. He has been a mindfulness-based, somatic oriented practitioner for the past 10 years, integrating EMDR in his practice for the past 5 years.

Scott has a private practice in Bend, Oregon, and is assisted by an experiential attachment specialist--a 70lb black Lab named “Riley.”
