A comprehensive approach to Early EMDR Interventions, RTEP (Recent Trauma Episode Protocol) and GTEP (Group Trauma Episode Protocol) are highly effective in integrating and reprocessing recent traumas as well as building resilience during ongoing traumatic events. Both Protocols are easily adapted to Tele-behavioral Health, particularly in emphasizing containment and safety. Given the myriad of ways the COVID-19 pandemic is creating trauma individually and within communities throughout the world, these protocols are particularly useful and timely.
