Instructor: Josie Juhasz, MA, LPC


Josie Juhasz, MA, LPC, has been a psychotherapist for 35 years, practicing in Vermont, Washington D.C., and currently Bend, Oregon.  She is EMDR certified, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Basic Training Facilitator,  and the Coordinator for Central OR Trauma Recovery Network.  She’s  provides additional specialty trainings specific to trauma and complex trauma and IFS informed EMDR. In her practice, she specializes in IFS informed EMDR Consultations. 

After traveling with an international training team to Uganda where she taught EMDR to mental health practitioners, Josie co-authored a chapter entitled “Learning EMDR in Uganda:  An experiment in cross-cultural collaboration” in Mark Nickerson’s book, Cultural Competence and Healing Culturally Based Trauma with EMDR Therapy (revised 2022).

This course is an advanced course open to  EMDR therapy clinicians.

CE INFORMATION

This course is a CE course. Participants are responsible for checking with their state boards to verify CE requirements.

EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) CEs

EMDR Professional Training is an approved EMDRIA CE Provider (#18023), and this program is approved by EMDRIA for 6 EMDRIA Credits, Approval #18023-96 for Part 1 and approved for 7 EMDRIA Credits, Approval #18023-97 for Part 2.

TRAINING LEVEL: Beginning level for Part 1.  Intermediate level for Part 2.

Eligibility for EMDRIA Credits is restricted to those who have completed an EMDRIA-Approved Basic EMDR Training.

Continuing Education Credit: NBCC

EMDR Professional Training is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education ProviderTM, ACEP No. 7569.
